| H.E. the President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj and his wife Khajidsurengiin Bolormaa visited the World Heritage Mahabodhi Mahavihara, Bodhgaya on 15.9.2009. About 60 member delegation landed at Gaya Airport by a special aircraft at around 1:20 pm. Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee Secretary Nangzey Dorjee and members welcomed the guests on their arrival at the Mahavihara. The president offered prayers in the sanctum of Mahabodhi Mahavihara and also visited the holy Bodhi tree on the premises. Chief Monk Bhikkhu Chalinda led him to offer the prayers. Photo 15-9-09 | ||
